The Client Experience

We use a modified version of the FORM Process, which helps put all of the pieces of your financial puzzle together. The FORM Process helps our working clients think about a "work-optional" lifestyle. For our retired clients, we help maximize their spendable retirement income by utilizing tax-advantaged retirement accounts and municipal bonds to produce income.

During the discovery process – when I first learn about you, not your portfolio – we focus on the four components of the FORM Process. In my experience, I’ve found that this is more important to clients than their asset allocation. The FORM Process helps us remember that we’re in a business that puts people first and numbers second.

We inFORM ourselves about your situation by first gathering inFORMation about you, personally. Then we perFORM an analysis of your current financial picture to discover if it coincides with your investment personality. While we FORM an opinion on whether your situation and my business model will be a good fit for both of us, my team and I will also FORMulate an action plan that you can use to reFORM your finances to better match your investment personality.

As we begin to work with you and your family to formulate a specific financial strategy that is unique to your needs, we'll be sure that you are kept fully aware of the process. From completing the planning process to onboarding assets and implementing your strategy plan, you'll know what's happening, what to expect, and when.

After the initial implementation we'll have an orientation meeting with you to explain gaining online access, to review your first statements, and to help you organize the paperwork. We'll also develop a communication pattern and discuss who to contact for various needs you may have. We'll begin to coordinate your "wealth team" (which may include your attorney and tax professional), and we'll introduce you to advanced concepts like succession planning, liability management, charitable giving, and estate planning.

Once your strategy is in place, we'll have regular strategy and tactical meetings to measure progress and keep things on track.

Get in touch with me today, and learn more about how successful investors use municipal bonds to achieve their goals.

Municipal bonds may or may not be appropriate investments for you based on your specific investment objectives and level of risk you are willing to accept. In general the bond market is volatile, and fixed income securities carry interest rate risk. Fixed income securities also carry inflation risk, liquidity risk, call risk, and credit and default risks for both issuers and counterparties.
